First Use

A:
Look at the big red button on the controller, it's the emergency stop button, check to see if it's pressed, rotate it so it pops up.
The emergency stop button may be pressed due to shaking during transportation. Once it is pressed, the machine will be in a power-off state.

A:
The machine body must be grounded well, this can be prevent and reduce the “induction” and “noise” effectively, otherwise it may not work correctly in some environments.
Method: use copper core cable to connect the machine and indoor "equipotential grounding terminal". if there is no "equipotential grounding terminal" in your place, you can try the following simple methods:
Prepare a thick copper wire , one end attached to the foot of the machine working table or any screw of the working table, and the other end connected to the Metal water pipes at home, or nailed a large nail into the ground then connect it to the copper Wire.

A:
The features of CNC router are: smaller layered cutting depth , highly spindle revolving speed and high feed speed. It has the exact opposite characteristic of a conventional milling or drilling machine. You may not use the operation
methods of any other milling or drilling machines to operate this engraving machine.

A:
Cutting/milling tools(cutter) requirements: Please use the special Cutting/milling tools for engraving machine. They must be capable to working at high rotation speeds (24000rpm). Each different material has its specific tools, if you use common milling cutters at high speed there will be a security risk. Please inform about this with your supplier. It is not allowed to use tools of a bigger diameter than 6mm in metals, this will cause damage to the spindle motor and controller.

A:
If the spindle of the machine is ER11, you need to use ER11 collet.

If the spindle of the machine is ER20, you need to use the ER20 collet

A:
Electrical Safety: You must use a properly grounded outlet, you can ground the machine on it’s own, it can effectively remove the induced current and prevent interference from the power grid.
Note: if there is high power and high current electrical equipment (such as electric welding machine etc.) nearby, that will cause interference in the engraving machine.

A:
You are not allowed to modify or change parts of the circuitry or mechanics , this will not only void the warranty, but it will also bring security risks. You are not allowed to operate the equipment if you are not trained or did not properly study this manual.

A:
1. Desktop or Laptop computer.
2. USB port output voltage can not be less than 5V.
3. Windows 7 (32/64bit) , Windows10.

Warning:
1. This computer must be only used for CNC Router machine.
2. Prohibited to connect the computer to Internet during machine work .
3. Prohibited to install any big software which may takes up CPU resources.
4. When Engraving Machine begin to working , prohibited to do any other job on the computer. otherwise, it maybe interfere with the normal pulse output, cause engraving failure.

Note: This machine does not come with any CAM software, please choose CAM software suitable for your company according to the advice of your engineer.
① The frequently used CAM software in engraving machine areas: Fusion360, ArtCAM, AlphaCAM, Aspire, Artcut, Cut2D / 3D, CopperCAM, DeskProto, Type3, UcanCAM, these software can be directly export G-code file. we recommend using these software, the details
please consult the software provider.
② Other industrial CAM software (such as Mastercam, PowerMill, HyperMill, Pro/E, UG, Lemoine RTM, etc.) may be required post-processing program, please consult the software provider.
③ SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CorelDRAW software can not directly generate G-code files , but they can exporte '.stl', '.eps', '.dxf' file, these format files can be imported to ArtCAM, Cut2D/3D, DeskProto, Artcut software, then export G-code files.

A:
Machine should be placed on a flat ,sturdy and heavy desk, this can be reduce noise which produced by resonance .We suggest place a steel plate on the desk, uneven desktop will cause deformation of the machine underpan.
If you buy the X8-2200 series, we have specially designed a stable aluminum alloy bracket for you to choose.

A:
1. The volume of the cooling water tank should be greater than 20L.
2. You can use a plastic container(barrels) with a lid. Prevent dust falling into the water.
3. The cooling water temperature should be controlled below 35 degrees Celsius. Use a large capacity water tank can effectively reduce the water temperature.
4. You can use purified water or tap water as cooling water.
5. You can add 1% ~ 3% liquid rust to the cooling water (liquid rust for automobile water tank can be used).
6. The water pump must be completely submerged in the water.

A:
"find no xhc ncusbpod" means the machine is disconnected to your computer. It is a common mistake and is usually caused by the user's computer. We all know that this is international transportation, so each machine has been carefully tested before packing.
If this error message appears, please follow the instructions below.

Reasons:
1, Not copied the DLL drive files.    Copy
2, Not direct connect to your computer.    Connect to computer directly.
3, Computer USB port output pulse unstable.    Change USB port to try.
4, Interference from other large software.     Stop running other software. 
5, Interference from other external USB devices.     Remove other USB deivce.
6, USB cable problem.         Change a shorter USB cable.
7, Computer problem.     Change a computer

A:
Activate the limit switch:
Turn on machine, first click the "REF ALL HOME" to back to a mechanical origin, and then click "SOFT LIMITS" to activate limit.

A:
In order to not damage the original operating platform when doing cutting operation; We usually cut some boards with the engraving machine, but if without the auxiliary operating platform, it may cut the operating platform in the process of cutting the board, thus permanently damaging the operating platform. Therefore, we need an auxiliary platform, which is also called backing plate. In this way, we can cut the board and not damage to the original operating platform of the machine.

It is very easy to install the auxiliary operating platform, and it only needs to fix a soft board (e.g. PVC, PMMA, or wood board) on the original operating platform of the machine. Then, make an engraving file and let engraving machine mill the auxiliary operating platform, with the purpose of obtaining higher evenness. It is also the most efficient method to engrave double color plate, PCB or other materials that ask for higher demand of flatness.
